#1
thinking of gettign a oxfored stormex cover for my 99 fzs, should i get a M or LRG size ???? My bike also have a box rack fitted, the reviews tend to point towards the LRG sign but i dont want to be putting a sail on my bike either

The cover I have is just a standard one from Hein Gericke and they suggested M (I think?) but I find it is just a bit too small and would ideally have gone for the next size up.

I say I think since I may have an L and want an XL instead Tongue In any case, next size up would be better for me Smile

If you've got a box / rack fitted, then the next size up is probably a good idea. I got a cover from Halfords (their own, size Large and supposedly suitable for up to 750cc bikes) and whilst it fitted the bike as standard, it's hopelessly small unless I take the box off and into the house.

I'd be inclined to go to a local dealer / shop, they *may* let you try it for fit on your bike if you ask, and many will do a decent deal if you ask them.

Always go bigger if not sure, personally i'd go XL with a top box, pointless getting anything undersized!

I have an Oxford rainex on my 99 Fazer 600 and went for the large size and also have a Givi top box rack. It won't fit on though with the top box fitted.

I've got the Medium Stormex and it fits perfectly over my '03, goes down to the bottom of the discs at the front and back.

I've got a 45L Givi and it deffo won't go over that when it's fitted.
