Whilst out today I noticed the front brake leaver a little bit sticky/notchy when I pull in. A while back some one had the same issue and I think they just took the leaver off - gave it a clean and re - greased but I can not find the post about it. So just checking I undo the nut and bolt holding the leaver on, the piston isn't going to pop out or something stupid is it.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

No, it's literally a nut and bolt, not spring loaded or anything.

More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.
Lube the piston part as well, that can cause issues too.

That's fantastic and just the info I was looking for thank you.
its not even as bad as your seemed I have just caught it at an early stage, I will inspect the pivot hole when I take the leaver off, yes I only dolow milage but they are all bendy dry weather miles

.
Lube being washed out is not my problem its being dried out that is.

All done, removed leaver and cleaned away almost non existent grease that was also dry, cleaned around piston rubber and added some red rubber grease there and a smear of normal grease around the pivot, all feels good now but will see how it feels on a proper road test.
Should of done it sooner :o
