fzs600 2003 light swap
#1
Hello i have a questions regarding lights on the fzs600 (2003). I am leaving the country and moving to a different one which is right hand side drive and i am forced to switch the lights. Now comes the question if i have to purchase full new lights specifically for rhs or would there be any possibility to modify the oem ones, like switching them around etc.. I'm asking as the actuall lights dont have any engravings on the plastic so a swap seems possible.
Thanks Wink

It is the reflectors that make the difference, not the lenses. If you can get a damaged EU headlight you could swap the reflectors

Some models of bikes have their light beams set straight unlike cars etc & don't pitch to the left or right, not sure if the FZS600 is one of the though or if the beam can be adjusted. Which country are you going to.

My 03 1000 is an import and the lights dip the wrong way. Some MOT places are more particular then others and it usually involves ignoring it or some insulation tape each year. Of course I can’t compare to how that would be tested outside of the UK.

Maybe you could swap with Meldoxxas both 600 foxeye and 1000 have the same headlight.

I have wired my boxeye lights to both be on but one looks brighter than the other, asone points to the left and one is straight on making it look brighter. For the MOT light pattern test I have an in-line fuse that I remove.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
