Can anyone tell me if there is a steel or a fibre plate to the inside of the basket?
I just took out the old clutch and there was steel plate to the rear so I replaced the new the same way until I ran out of steel plates and ended up with a fibre plate left over (didn't think anything of it thinking that it might also be suitable for another model).
So I built it all up and had no clutch. I then took it apart and did a plate count, realised there was steel plate missing so used one of the old ones.
The clutch is now fine but the lever adjustment is right in (previously it was 1/2 out).
How much hassle to use the adjuster in the middle of the cable?

Just think how stupid the "average" person is.  Isn't it a worry that statistically approximately 50% of the population are thicker!
