carbon tank shield

Anyone got one of these from Infinite Performance? real carbon. They look quite good for protecting from scratches.

It sticks on with tape that comes already attached. I was going to order one and see what it looks like. Think they only £24 or something.  Bare in mind that is a Yellow Tank. so probably stands out like a sore thumb, Anything yellow stands out like a sore thumb anyway!!
Your be surprised how much the paint does wear away on that part of the tank. You sit right against it on the fazer.

Yes I know ive had the same one for 13 years and you do not need all of that, those "wings" wont get touched and you can knock off 1/4 from the top. And those with double sided sticky tape always look rubbist and you wil get loose areas that you can tap as the cover floats a little.
Where you do need protection is where your knees are  that link of mattsplats look right

Talking about where your knees are I use these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301034993657?s...1497.l2649
I have just started using my Fazer a lot more now for commuting and noticed a few scratches appearing in the area where I lean on the tank.  I have a tank protector there already but its not really up to much. So I was going to try the carbon thing. I don't like the bagster tank covers as I think it ruins the look of the bike. The colour is never right
