I have a set of the datatool heated grips to fit but the bike has R&G bar end protectors, how do these come off to let me? Thought i better check before i start ripping bits off!  :lol

If its on the stock bars then its just a bolt that holds the bar end and screws into a fixed "nut" inside the bar. Just undo the bolt in the centre of the bar end and it should come off with it Smile

Just realized you are on a Fazer 1000

Are they more like this; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R-G-RACING-BAR...2570033cbf

If so, then the thread is part of the bar end which should just unscrew?

You're welcome Smile

I'd done a little bit of research recently as I bought new bar ends for my Renthal bars - ended up using some Rawlplugs from B&Q to attach them Wink
