How much oil to put back in?

Its a simple case of just putting oil in until it is within the min - max gauges on any vehicle. For the bike, it may well be 2.7 litres, I haven't paid enough attention to actually check Tongue

As for my car, there have been reports on the owners forum of anything between 4.5 to 5.2 (what Haynes says) to 7 litres!!  :eek

I think the main point is, you can definitely get away with pouring 2.5 litres in, without worrying about over filling, if you've just changed the filter, and then you just top up from there on.

Surely 2.5 litres is 2.5 litres isn't it?
