Get some better earplugs?
Someone sent me a postcard picture of the earth. On the back it said, "Wish you were here."

As does the tank when i brake and slide on the seat. I think the dealer was a little overzealous with the cleaner!

Looking at posts, all the Fazers have vibrations at around 6,000 revs, and I've noticed some at 3,000 / 3,500 too. Not that I'm too concerned.

When I get back to Uni in January, I intend to do some tests on my engine. I suspect that 6,000 revs is possibly the 3rd harmonic of the engine's natural frequency, which is what generates the juddering. A friend suggested it could also be standing waves being formed in the carbs. Either way, I'll find out in Jan!

my exhaust used to resonate at around 6000rpm and it made the exhaust get way louder. i took the down pipes off and the can and then refitted them and it stopped the problem

Hi there. It could be the front indicators. Give them a check with the bike stationary. Just hold them and check for 'up and down' movement. This is a common problem on MK1 fazer 600's due to the rubber seating gasket hardening off over time. Yamaha upgraded this part later on to eliminate the problem.
Yamaha Fazer 'the only bike you'll ever need' maybe ???

Just ignore it, its got an engine, they vibrate. If it helps then borrow a single from someone, that should put things into perspective !
