You obviously move in different circles to me if you use Audis as an example of something cheap and basic as a comparison. They aren't the first Marque that comes to my mind. :lol

But if you're taking it down to BASIC function a Ford Ka does the same job but they're shite :pokefun Just because two things do the same thing doesn't make them equal does it. Why do people spend £500+ on a HiFi when they can get one for less than £100? cos it's got features on it that they want and the cheaper one hasn't got, probably uses better quality components, is better built and will last longer. Would you ask a Ducati Panigale owner why he didn't just buy a CBR600 cos they do the same thing?

Thanks darrsi, The thing that the audicator doesn't make a noise unless/until you forget to cancel and stops when the brake light is on so it wouldn't get on my tits like that would after a very short time or attract too much attention at the traffic lights in town on a busy Saturday :lol

Could always connect your indicators to your horn, that wouldn't be annoying at all  Big Grin

I don't forget to cancel all that often, it's not like every time I use them I forget to turn them off again but you only have to do it once at the wrong time/place to get wiped out. A £45 outlay is soon forgotten about to be honest but if it saves my skin in 6 months time, without getting on my wick every time I use my indicators in the meantime, I think it's money well spent but maybe that's just me. It's quite amusing how upset some folks get about how other people spend their own money.

Is forgetting to cancel indicators a sign of dementia? It is (to me) a basic function following any indicated change in direction, whether on the motorway (changing lanes) or at any normal road junction. I personally, cannot see why anyone would need an audible device to run in conjunction with a flashing light on the dash panel. Just my opinion - only been riding 35 years and have never had any issues at all.

Maybe a sign of dementia, which I don't think I have. Maybe a sign of not being perfect all the time which I will admit to.
