I have a quastion:
Is it posible (if it is how to do it and witch is the best?) to mount a gear indicator to my Yamaha, i have a FZS 600 2003.?

Tnx for help, i will se about that, as i looked, the Fzs 2003 doesnt have much of electronics.... I will se how to instal it and tel about it.. Im a engenir of Elektrotehnics so that scouldn't be a problem to install XD

What I don't get is the makers have a retail price of 89 euro's  (£71.50) yet the "Bikers Discount Store" want £99.99 for it.


Some 'effin discount that - even with VAT added on top of the Euro price.

Theyre that expensive!  Surely there can't be to much to them.  Perhaps an electroncs engineer should investigate and make one for less. A lot less

For a little bit more, you could join the group buy for the multi gauge,  which looks a much neater solution and the electronics work doesn't sound like it would be an issue.

The ZX12 has the advantage of a rotary switch on the selector drum, the FZS600 only has a neutral switch.
To work out what gear you're in you'd need to calculate it from the ratio of engine revs to pulse rate from the speedo sender... presumably that's how the Healtech unit works, but I guess it'll be confused when the clutch is pulled.

If I was in the market for one (I'm not), that's definitely the one I'd go for. I have to agree it's a VERY neat design and fits in seamlessly with the OE clocks. Much better than tagging on a separate gear indicator that doesn't match anything.

I agree, the multi is much nicer. But the schematics look awesome but i think it would work only on newer bikes... :/
