Front Sprocket Nut Online?
#1
Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can get hold of one of these online. I dont fancy a trip to the other side of Glasgow and paying £9+ for one. Im not in a rush for it, but I see Wemoto have stopped selling them, and I would rather not pay the £15 from cmsnl either  :rolleyes

Im sure there was a scooter place that had them in stock cheap a while back, but I cant find the link now...

Wow yeah, I somehow completely misread that, sorry  :o

Only other place I know of is http://www.yamahascooterspares.co.uk but I can't find the up-rated nut on there, even after searching for the part no (9089110124)

You can get the 9mm one from here though http://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk/...sion?uID=0

The 9mm one should be fine, provided you torque it up correctly! And by correctly, I mean don't over tighten.

Ebay?

The ad is nothing to do with me, but part will fit FZS, FZR, R6 (and probably others)

There are some others but they want £6 for P&P

The eBay listing is for the 12mm nut (or it should be) as it matches the part no from Yamaha that I posted above Smile

Heh, nah, I'm happy with scottoil for that. I don't mind paying more if it's for a quality item, but £10+ for a nut and washer is ridiculous, especially given I'm changing it because of a mistake Yamaha has made.

Fowlers are always good for any parts, but they'll always ask for your chassis number so have it to hand.

Gues they must just have been temporarily out of stock or something. Ive since ordered, and received a new nut, and sold the bike Smile

thanks guys!
