Obviously this would mean you always have to ride like a saint and within the law

I think I want one.
But what about the quality of the aldi one - is it jerky or low rez and for an insurance incident do you actually need to see a numberplate (unless they drive off ) like Kawasutras one dont think you can see the numberplate---- or can you on the origional full rez one.

You can alwats mount the camera where you cant see the clocks.  Tend to use mines for group rides mostly. Handy if someone else has one too then you can adsess your own riding too.. just bought a r/c hexicopter drone so the gopro is going on that too for some aereal bike shots too etc

Not sure i'd buy something like this without first seeing sample clips of the quality and/or reading a few reviews.

Like someone said above, I've bought a cheap one to see how much I use it and to see if an investment in a top end gopro is worthwhile for me.
