Stuttering At Low Revs
#1
The last few times I have ridden my 03 600 around town it has been stuttering quite a lot at low revs. When I give it the gas it lurches for a second or two before taking off. I'm having to constantly cover the clutch in case it stalls. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'd start by having the carbs balanced.
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.

Wet or dry? Mine was doing something similar last year after it had sat in the rain all day. A good dose of WD40 on the plugs and caps and it hasn't  been an issue since.

I'd agree with hightower. It sounds like the symptoms of arcing from the spark plug caps or ht leads to me

Thanks guys. With this weather I haven't been putting the raincover on my Fazer much as the bike is usually wet when I get home so water could be the problem. Carb balance wouldn't go amiss either as it's been a while. Will check and WD40 plug area to start with.

Try taking the caps off one at a time and take the rubber boot off the cap and see if there's water. Also look for marks on the base of the cap from arcing

It was quite alarming when it happened to mine as I automatically went in to the mindset of "oh sh*t, electrics. This is gonna be expensive". I think it was around April 2013 when I had the issue and since spraying it hasn't reared it's head once - hope your issue is as simple.

Turned out it was just a faulty plug so a new set is now installed and bike running well. Thanks for your input guys.
