Just picked up a 2001 FZS1000 for my daily, all weather rider.


I've had an FZ1 in the past but never got on with seat, etc.


I've also got a 2013 FJR for touring, days out, etc. with the missus and a 2002 ZX9-R Ninja for being a boy racer from time to time...


One week into riding it and loving every minute. It's been jetted and fitted with K&N's with a Viper can (minus the baffle)

do any foccers use battery powered heated gloves during winter or have you tried them.
Was thinking of purchasing some but wanted a few opinions before I spent my hard earned

Do Fazers of this year have their own separate service record book, or is it part of the owners manual? If it is a book on its own what does it look like?  I am looking at buying another 600 after regretting selling the last one and cannot remember how the services are recorded.  :'( !

Hi I'm currently rebuilding a  2000 fazer 600 which has ring wear , and i'm struggling to find new piston rings on line , be grateful if anyone has any
links or contacts for a uk supplier of new piston rings for the Fazer.
