I'm thinking of buying a set of stainless pipes for my gen 2,mainly because I can't stop them staining no matter what I do,do you think the stainless ones will be any easier to keep clean ?

  How sad am I?
Posted by: agricola - 20-02-19, 08:04 PM - Forum: General - Replies (20)

Sooner than pay the local council £20 to take my failed washing machine away, I dragged into the garage, stripped it down into is individual parts, then cut up the white metal casing into sheets. It now goes into the motor car boot for the tip in the morning.

But I saved £20 Smile

hagon or other make shorter shock
Posted by: butthead - 20-02-19, 03:09 PM - Forum: FZ6 / FZ6 Fazer - Replies (6)

hi guys , im considering getting the f6 but im a bit short in the leg , i hear you can either get a lowering kit or a shorter shock, i dont know what the std length of the origional shock is ? to research a shorter one, does anyone know the dimension of the OEM shock please?

also has anyone on here used a lowering kit and found any disadvantages to lowering ( sidestand ? mainstand etc) or having to lower the forks etc.

it doesnt look like the F6 seat has a lot of meat in it to begin with to have some taken out ? anyone done so ?

id appreciate any help guidance please im looking at an F6 this weekend so id like to go with some ideas of how to lower it.

id need to get the seat or stand over height down  to circa 790 mm ideally.

  How old is your lid?
Posted by: dickturpin - 20-02-19, 10:42 AM - Forum: General - Replies (18)

Ok, I know all the arguments about how much to spend on a lid and valuing your head etc etc, but my lid is now about 5 years old but infrequently used.
So, I wonder how old yours is?

Posted by: Cotty1979 - 20-02-19, 10:22 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (3)

Hi all first post for me so go easy. Just saved a 1999 fazer 600 from the scrap heap. My problem is I've replaced the main wiring loom but can't seem to get it right  were all the relays go and which route it takes to the battery. So what im asking for is a couple of pics of how the wiring loom runs. Thanks

  Blue Spot Rear Caliper
Posted by: Northern Biker - 19-02-19, 11:27 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (9)

Thinking of upgrading my rear caliper for a Blue Spot one, my question is does it matter if it comes from an R6, FZS1000, XJR1300 etc or are they all the same caliper? Thanks in advance.
