I noticed shortly affter the winter if i was in realy heavy traffic and couldnt be arsed to filter (happens now and then ) i got the red temp light pop on, went off again as soon as i got moving or turned engine off.
Also noticed it 3 or 4 times now when on charity runs (only this year, was fine last year) that again in slow or staionary traffic the red warning lamp comes on.
So today i went out a rode slowly round town for 15 mins or so to try to make it happen, sure enough affter a while the red light came on, and cleared as soon as i crept the speed back up.
so tried again and got the red light on, this time i got off the bike and checked the fan.... No fan on !!!
now im 90% sure the fan should be on long before it gets hot enough for the warning light. so i must have a problem.


In my VERY limited electrical knowlage it would seem to me there would be a switch to turn the fan on once it gets to temp "A" and a 2nd or maybe the first is variable to set the light on when the temp hits "B"

so either the switch is faulty or the fan motor itself had died.
but how can i find out what one it is?

Hi my names Chris and i live in S/Wales,just bought my second Fazer a FZS 600 02 model in blue,had a yellow 01 a couple of years ago and regreted selling her it was the best fun bike i have owned.
Rebuilt an R1 last year a nice bike but scared the s**t out of me on occasions

Can anyone help?  I am looking for a headlight for a 2006 FZ1N as mine is smashed, I don't have £400+ for a new one but cannot find one second hand for love nor money.  I have scoured the net and cannot find one anywhere.  I have even tried partfinder and there were no replies from any breakers.
I am currently living in Spain where they have type approval so I can only fit the original item, hence I am off the road until I get one.  I don't know if there is a difference between the UK and Europe lights (ie we drive on different side of the road) or if they are one in the same.
I cannot locate one here in Spain, or Portugal and my French and German is not good enough to try there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  :'(

We have been working on this new messageboard for a few years now, waiting for the software to be released and finally it was earlier this month, so here it is.

I hope for this to be our permanent home home in the future so what do you think. There will of course be advantages and disadvantages. As in our old board there's the Laboratory to play around in and people on hand to help. PM me if you get really stuck.
