I have been looking at getting Triumph T1050, 800, or speed triple, I thought lets just see what other bikes are out there b4 commiting, I own a VFR800 pre vtec.
I did a search saw a pic of a naked FZ1-N and i loved the look of it, found a "pre-registered" 2010 example, 0 miles, new registration, 24 mnth warrenty, 0% finance
for £ 6500, so i brought it.
Delivery in a couple of weeks, like a child all over again!!! (51).
I will be looking for, gel seat, screen, protectors and tail tidy. for starters...any advice, suggestions, greatly recieved.
Tim

Started to notice a high pitched whirry whine eminated from the front of my commuter FZS6. When it first started I wondered if it was some kind of wind effect as it starts from about 50mph onwards but it's getting worse and is deffo related to road speeds and i'm 90% sure it's the front.
So, I expect it to be the bearings. I'll inspect when I get a chance on the weekend and will attempt to replace them. Bike is on 56k now and has had many winters thrown at it so not surprised the bearings need replacing. The rear's went in April and they were a B****** to change and i'm expecting the front to be the same/worse.
Any magic tips to help? I've not removed the front wheel before but will go for the plank of wood and a car jack on the downpipes option methinks :rolleyes

Mk1 FZS600 rev counter doesn't always shows the revs, it shows 3k, then the revs, then 0k.
I've had the engine out to drill out an exhaust stud and do a bit of painting, so I'm guessing I've not reconnected a wire, or pinched something. I can't find anything obvious though, and can't find anything in the manual. Can anyone help???

Just bought an 03 600 Fazer to replace my previous stolen ride. This looks to be the place to talk and share all things Fazer so I signed up.
Bar is open, what are you having?

Since the Duck Billed Platypus lays eggs and also gives milk, scientists have determined that it is one of the few animals that can make its own custard.
