ECU cable
Posted by: Dudeofrude - 27-09-19, 06:34 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

My tuner has recently started flashing ECUs and I'm wanting to get mine done but upon closer inspection it turns out you cant 'live tune' the Fz1 Gen2 due to the ecu being under the air box.

But Im thinking all we need is an extension lead of sorts so we can extend the wire and have the ecu just outside the air holes in the frame (where is would be accessible easily)
I've had a look online but cant seem to find anything, does anyone know of one or a way it can be made?

Long shot I know,  FZS 1000 Standard seat, MUST be perfect as new, not lowered with it's original cover.

  Buying advice for an FZS600
Posted by: Shazz89 - 23-09-19, 10:50 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (6)

Hello all,

I am here for a bit of advice,

I am a relatively new Motorcycle rider been driving for about a year and I am looking to get a bigger bike.

From reading around and seeing whats available here in Ireland it has become clear that a 600cc Fazer is the way to go.

I have my eye on a 2002 registered FZS600 with 12,000 miles on the clock being advertised for €2,200.

Info in the ad:
Has been garaged for the last 7 years,
New battery,
New oil and filter,
New air filter,
New Fuel filter,
Full alarm with remote,
Two keys and
Handbook

Just wondering when I to go and look at it what would be the things to look out for to make sure it was kept well and is still in good condition.

I popped some pictures of the bike down blow also, Thanks in advance for the help.

  Fitting Koso clocks
Posted by: benny3008 - 22-09-19, 10:16 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (6)

Has anyone fitted a koso to a 2003 fazer who could give me some guidance on the wiring please? I’ve done all the wires for lighting, fuel etc. but not sure where the brown and red wire from koso should be connected to on the bikes wiring. I have pictures of wiring diagram and koso instructions if someone cane make more sense of it than me.

  Hi from Bradford

I've recently sold my XJR1300 which leaves me with my xvz1300 venture which is great when you feel like a comfy cruise to the coast with the Missus but I'm missing my XJR and always fancied an FZ1, so that's why i'm here to hopefully get some advise before buying one. I've done my homework and read loads of reviews and the only real concern for me is the low to mid range torque. Is it really so detrimental to the bike and can it be improved with the right mods.
cheers in advance Hos
PS. tried to put pics on but I think i'm too old to understand how :wall
