I am on the border of Wales and enjoy the playground it is.
So the south and mid Wales riders should have a get together, perhaps the Brecon Beacons on any Sunday.
What do you think, who's up for a spin to Aber?

Morning guys and girls, firstly i need to appologise to the london foccers as couldnt make sunday due to the above :'(
i recently changed my front brake lines ( braided ) and piston seals, after cleaning my rear brake pistons and found they needed changing i thought i would look at the front and clean them up. on piston would not retract, i could get it to push out but really struggled to push it back in. I removed the piston cleaned everything thouroughly and yet it still is ALMOST impossible to push all the way home. it will go passed the dust seal but when it gets to the oil seal stops. so inspected again and the only thing i can see is the seal looks as if it is not seated properly but it is very hard to tell. removed seal and reseated but still looks the same as if back edge is slightly raised. anyway new seal ordered, but has anyone had this before. i have renewed master cylinder seals and all other pistons move freely.
also how much pressure would you expect to use to push the piston back?????
thanks in advance

Not sure if this is just me, but when I try and ride quicker than usual on my bike it can feel really twitchy at the rear, especially on high speed left hand bends or roundabouts where I am leaning left. It also happens on acceleration after the roundabout if I am still slightly leaning to the left. Obviously its pretty unnerving when it does this. It's usually near the start of the ride, but I do allow quite a lot of time for tyres, engine, breaks etc to warm up properly before I start to give it some. I do have a leaking left front fork which I am replacing soon fingers crossed, could that be it? My tyres are Dunlop Sportmax front and rear if that has anything to do with it? I'll be getting BT023'S next time I think. Also, I have stock suspension by the looks of it and weigh just over 13 stone in gear. Any help or similar experiences would be great thanks.

I know this has been asked before, but i cant find it on the search. Can you mix semi sinth and full sinth. Brought fully by mistske, and still got some semi, so would be enough mixed. Thanks.

What length are the early Fazer 600's shock linkage dogbones from centre to centre of boltholes? I have the 1000 and was wondering if they were the same length or different.
If not, dependant on length they could be used to raise or lower the back-end (or the 1000 dog-bones could instead be used on the 600?)

After 10 years I've finally waved goodbye to my trusty FZ600 :'(
Gone, but probably not disappeared from this board. As it's now in the (highly skilled and mechanically sensitive :b :b ) hands of Sunny Intervals (or razgruff, for those of you who've been around here a while)
So.......what should I buy next? Saw a new Honda Nsomething auto at the NEC and a very attractive Moto Guzzi V7 at the Excel show
The search is on :lol
