Past my test 6 months ago after not riding a bike for 25 years (125 when i was 17) and bought an FZS 600 2002. Great bike and loving it.

Hi,


Serviced the EXUP Valve today, snapped some bolts and tapped new threads to M8. So far so good.


When reinstalling the components to the exhaust and starting the bike the 7K PRM fault showed on the Tacho. I unbolted the bracket that holds the cables in place and turned the ignition key to ON and the cables retracted very tightly and won't pull back out and now cannot fit them with the bracket back onto the Valve shaft.


Before I lift the tank to access the Servo Motor can anyone help me out with some ideas what might be going on.

Had a drive to Derwent Res in hope valley thursday, as there was a flyover with a Lancaster, Spitfire & 2 Tornadoes to commemorate 70 years of the dambuster mission.

Threw in a few bike pics to keep it on topic ;-)

Photobucket used to be a lot easier to use before it changed to the more fancy s910 version. Does anyone know how to do the multiple picture select then get all the codes in one go.

Or better still can you change it back to the original blue screen version.

Is this crap any good for chains, of the motorbike variety?


Spoke to my dad & he says its a pile o shite,dont put it on yur chain,you'll foc yur chain bla bla bla,he hasnt actually seen it though.


To be honest when he went into dad mode i switched off a bit but I suspect he may be right.


But i like to give things a chance & it could be the shizny


Any thoughts?
