not much to say about it really,

realised the compact twin tone airhorn I've bought will be a nightmare to fit as its not so compact  :( . gonna wait till Alex fits his as he had bought the same one and seems a pro at fettling!

cool storey bro? :lol

I stuck my air horn just back from where you've put that 12v socket, there's a bracket under there that i think i had to trim down a bit then bolted the horn to it.

There's a side view picture here:

I was planning on doing exactly the same 12v socket install.  Now wondering if I should keep it under the seat and route the cable instead.  The idea of zip ties near my steering isn't something I'm too fond of.

Excuse the wires, i've got other stuff going on down there!  :rolleyes
So the open screw hole you can see is for the rear screw of the left infill fairing panel.
The open end of the horn is facing down to avoid any water issues.

It's mounted to an original bracket (the rusting bolt under the blue connectors), although i vaguely remember something being hacksawed off to make room? This was done years ago so i'd need too see another bike that hasn't been tampered with to see exactly what i've done?
The infill tray sits as normal.

I'll be totally honest, electrics are definitely not my thing, i just wire things as i go along as per instructions, and as my air horn was fitted years ago that drawing doesn't mean too much to me!
But i'm sure some nice chap on here will point you in the right direction!

Having electronic engineers at work is a kind of bonus for me too  :)

Yes your diagram would work, but go with Darrsi or Exupnut, which ever you find clearest, Darrsi's doesn't show the fuse but are otherwise they're the same. That way the horn will only work when the ignition is on.  :)

going off my last diagram then, could the - on the horn go to the - on the battery?

It could, but would be easier to wire the ground through the bolt that the horn will mount onto.  :D
