secret santa suggestions please.
« on: 13 November 2012, 11:00:57 pm »
Hi all, we drew our secret santa today at work. The bloke i have to buy for has a Street triple R and thinks its the best thing since the wheel was invented.. He is a bit of a knob and a know-it-all. as such i need some help with what to get him and possibly bring him down a peg.
budget is up to £5

he is one of these people who thinks hes a "proper" biker but his triple has done a massive 450 miles this year....  :lol

Thanks,

Lord,
Grant me the WD-40 to move those things that are stuck, the Duck tape to fasten those things that are loose, And the wisdom to know the difference.
Amen

haha i like that.. and it is rather apt. this year me and a mate rode round Ireland. 1400 miles in 4 days. he thought we was a tad mental.
next year we plan to do a tour of race tracks. Spa, Nurburgring and Hockenheim to watch a DTM race before coming home.
I got  look of disapproval when i told him lol.

he then proceeded to tell me "that isn't what the STR is for"

my only worry is it will bait him and he will come along holding us up.....

hmm to be honest he would like it. He had a 880 sportster before the STR. i think he only sold it because it was slow as shit and he didn't like me having a way faster bike.

I think you should be really generous and buy him a puncture repair kit....Timing is crucial here....Only to be presented to him just after you've frenziedly spiked both his tyres :evil

Buy him an entrance fee to either the National Rally or to the Iron Butt rally

Alternatively search amazon for arse/face products

pity there aren't any FOC-U stickers that you could've given him!!

as the idea of secret santa is that they dont know who bought it them why not get something totally not bike related but so obsure /abstract that he wil wonder who the heck bought it? ie golf balls or Tee's for a non golfer!!
or if you do want to go the bike route sommat not related to either a Triumph or Fazer!
It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!

Dildo, multicoloured.

As an aside I always refuse to take part in these ridiculous things, I have never felt awkward or bad about simply saying, no thanks, I'd rather not take part'

get him a bag of mud to rub on his bike and make it look like it's been used
or a pair of scuffed knee sliders and some sandpaper to remove his chicken strips

Hardest crossword book ever. So he can realise he's not as clever as he thinks.

The last time I did secret Santa (on another forum) I got banned...

do tell Tori!!

that reminds me of a mate that was in Iraq. I sent him christmas box.. containing 3 puzzle book. (which I had completed), a load of empty chocolate wrappers, my weekly magazines and mince pies , he hates them!! I did send him a proper one with stuff he wanted in & it is fair to say I got paid back when I was away!

Robbie, I was going to send a turd in a box, but decided that may be a little harsh, so I sent decorative Xmas toilet paper. Perfect for someone who talks crap :) The recipient whined to admin and I got banned :lol

How about a disclock?? If he doesn't have one you can probably get one for about a fiver. If he does get him one of those curly wurly reminders with a little pouch, as they are about £3 !!!
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!
