Does anybody know of any tricks to sucessfully bleeding the back brake? i have fitted a new hose and used the traditional bleeding method, i have no air bubbles coming through but its still not near as good as it was!!

I use a syringe on the bleed nipple to put suction on the line then keep pumping. If the pedal is soft you've still got air in the caliper.

disconnect the soft hose at the reservoir end and get yourself a wider ended syringe. then crack the bleed nipple and apply pressure from the res end this then gets rid of any air that may get trapped in master cylinder

letting the fluid stand over night often helps matters, it then bleeds to a firm lever easily the following day.

Possibly a dumb question but have to check ... you are using both bleed nipples, no?
