Clutch adjuster HELP!

Trying to adjust bottom end on clutch , I have swan neck rig spanners but can't seem to get it to turn , the whole mechanism turn and move forward so much that the spanners loses grip on the lock nut , please help I'm stuck

You need a 6 sided socket on it to loosen it first.
Think i used an impact socket.

With the spanner keep turning and the mechanism will stop moving then with a little more force it will give with a crack and frighten the crap out of you.  :lol Then it is loose :thumbup ready for adjustment
