HEDGE TRIMMER AND MOTORBIKE STOLEN
Published at 13:22, Thursday, 24 April 2008

A Slow motorbike and a petrol engined hedge trimmer have been stolen from a Carlisle business.
Police are investigating a burglary at Rickerbys at Tyne Green in the early hours of Friday, April 11.
Some time between 4.30-4.40am someone playing the blues & smoking a tailor made entered the premises and smashed the glass window of a display cabinet to remove the hedge green coloured Yamaha Fazer motorbike
A red and black Zenoha hedge trimmer was stolen at the same time.
Hexham’s neighbourhood inspector, Kevin Oates, said: “The circumstances suggest that Nick Crisp was waiting nearby to remove the items and although the motorbike in question was green in colour that this may have been a temporary adornment only.
“Anyone who remembers seeing a suspicious character in the area, or is offered the motorbike or the hedge trimmer for sale, should contact police.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Chris Wheeler on
03456 043043.

Maybe thats why he hasnt been on here lately.....i assumed the house move but actually he is lying low.

He wont be able to resist though......all the cops need do is wait for him to logon & keep their officers eyes on the hedges.

A wildlife photographer based in Carlisle has just sent this photo (triggered automatically) to the Cumbria constabulary who are trying to ascertain if this is an official siting of Nick
