I have a yam branded one made by c-teck who do the branded ones for jag or something, I have a hard wired connection connected to the battery on a short lead that curls up and tucks under the seat when not in use.
Not cheap though but it is cheaper if you get a bike only one whereas mine is car and bike (whatever difference that is)

I got a Halfords cheapo 3 years ago, still works perfectly. Came with 2 leads to connect it to battery, one with crocodile clips on and one so you can have a permanen connection to battery so you can just connect it very easily, I think that just about every charger comes with similiar leads.
I used to have an Oxford one that cost over £60 but it lasted only two years before it just decided to die, the Halfords one cost £25.

Here you go
http://www.optimate.co.uk/accumate.htm
Its their base model I've had one for about 15 years now it's never missed a beat I've also got their later type
http://www.optimate.co.uk/optimate%204%20dual.htm.
The latter is a a bit cleaver at checking, can charge the later/gel type batteries and now canbus compatible it's up to you.

Nah, this is the base model
http://www.optimate.co.uk/optimate%202.htm
And a cracking job it does at charging dead flat batteries. Well worth it.

I'll also put in a good word for the Optimate, but do remember that whilst it will check voltage level, it doesn't do Load Testing so (as I found out recently) the battery may seem fine as it's got plenty of volts, but is sorely lacking in amps when you try to start the bike

I bought a cheap one from aldi and it wrecked 3 bike batteries!
Get yourself a decent one, cheaper in the long run.

I have an Optimate for years and it is a great reliably unit.
No hesitation in recommending one
