The base, brickwork, frame and roof were done by these people.
http://www.gardenbuildings.co/ I could have gone for black glazed tiles but they would have added another two grand to the bill and wouldn't have been ready until late feb as they would have had to have been ordered in especially.
In reality I could have gone for a cheaper build sorting out my own groundworks, frame and roof but the thought of working with several contractors all blaming each other if something went wrong was not something I wanted to deal with, so this is done all in house. The only thing I didn't get them to do was supply doors. They wanted £1,500 for them.
The frame weighs a few tonnes and I wouldn't have been able to put that up on my own. It's a lovely bit of oak wood and the building will out live me. It also had to blend in with what was there in terms of structure and space and I reckon I got that about right... except for the red pantiles
You could easily get six bikes in there and I'm looking forward to getting my KTM back that a mate's been looking after.
Fridge? Got one... and a kettle. They're both in the house.
