Fitted the new bearings tonight.......my drift was'nt going to work, not enough room to get it in there, so I prised the rollers out and removed the plastic roller carrier from both sides I then used a length of 22mm copper tubing to knock the outer bearing casing out.....worked a treat
.......cleaned everything up and pressed the bearings in square with my hands just to get them started, I then used a sash cramp to push them all the way in, then using a scoket slightly smaller than the bearing for the last little bit
Dropped the spindle in and no play what so ever
.....will put it back on the bike tomorrow.
