 Fitted my new exhaust but had a bit left over. Any owners know what this bit is for?

yep,me too........tail tidy / number plate bracket.....not sure why you have it with the exhaust though....offer it up and see what it looks like  ;)

Looks like a plate for the exhaust mounting bands to bolt onto.
