nitron shock problem
« on: 23 April 2014, 09:06:40 pm »
hi foccers I have just managed to fit my nitron shock to my 99 fzs but have found the bottom shock bolt just a bit to short with the thicker shock fittings on the nitron the mountings are about 2 mm thicker either side.
this means the nut cant fully get on the bolt.
any on else had this issue?? it will go on fully if I leave the washer off is this a good idea??

I thought about that but am concerned the bottom shock bolt takes a heavy load so should it be high tensile?
or stainless

So ask for a longer high tensile or stainless bolt ;)

Are you sure you didn't get the bolts mixed up by mistake?
My nitron fitted fine with the standard bolts!
