Sounds like its flooding.
More than likely a sticking carb float needle seat.
Either needs more cleaning or a new float needle seat.
Take it back they need to re-look.

Like matey said "but just got no soul."

I got back on my Tuono and haven't looked back yet..
Mind I do like the F800GS.

And...I do need a change now.

Just had a Vaillant Combi boiler Eco Tec Pro 28 supplied & fitted, with new 3mtr twin wall Flue.
Old one taken out, so virtually a straight swap.
£1800 inc vat.

GAS

Sold the old boiler on eBay for £50.

Couple of years ago one flew into my helmet whilst I was overtaking.
Smashed my Visor knocked the lenses out of my glasses & cut my cheek, & split the lower part of the helmet.
The bird disintegrated and showered its remains all over my mate behind me.
That was not fun.

You need one for a Fazer.....
How long have you had it on the optimate?
I would suggest at least 24 hrs.
Then fit to the bike & start up.
If it don't start ring the supplier, could be faulty. :lol
 
 
Leave it on overnight. 24 hours should show some better signs.
You can leave an Optimate on for weeks.

I just got a new Wurth Dry Chain Lub.
Clean chain first, then spray on as you turn the wheel. (by hand).

Well worth a look.

For me its the extras one gets on a bigger bike. Like better brakes, suspension etc.
Not necessary to use all its got all the time every time.
Chicken strips....I always keep a few mil of them, just in case I need them at some stage. Good to know in difficult situations.
You could also ask the same question to a Jag owner.
Normally they are over 65 ex banker and never had the thing over 70mph.   LOL   :lol

And its not bad at all in town. Agree need to feather clutch a bit but with the smaller sprocket makes it so much more controllable.
This bike is awesome, not for the faint hearted.
This is a focused bike and very comfortable.
