outer race of front wheel bearing stuck in hub
« on: 24 April 2013, 03:26:53 pm »
tried everything, dremel slot, chisel/ punch, heat gun, hammering, got a little bit of it off, but by now if it was normal it should have peeled off, so it must be welded to the hub, any ideas to remove it ?

thanks

Where did you apply the heat with the heat gun?

I used the dremel aluminium oxide grinding stone and cut away one part of the outer race which made it easy for it collapse into itself.
