Bicycle chain lube advice

I used muckoff dry lube but after leaving a bike unused for a couple of years in a shed the chain has completely seized I used the dry lube cause like the fazer I wont be riding in the wet but after googling it seems that is what can happen with the muckoff dry lube if you do not keep topping it up or it is subject to normal shed environment with a bit of damp .
I spent about 3 hours freeing every link buy bending back and forth with some oil so it wasn't like it was rusty.
So looking for advice on what to use,
 muck off wet 
3 in one
ACF 50
WD 40
Something else
Don't fancy paying £££ for exotic stuff although I know that ACF 5 falls into this category but I already have a tin of that for the

When i used to cycle regularly (40+ years ago) all i ever used was 3in1 and never had problems

I'd suggest soaking the chain in paraffin first, then as BBrown says, just use 3 in 1.

Put the tip of the can on the chain by the rear sprocket and turn the pedals backwards to let a trickle of oil get onto all the links.

You can buy cycle oil which is essentially like 3 in 1. Some people wax them instead of oiling. 

Never been a fan of any dry type of chain lube.

Thanks all, yes I did soak it in parafin and it did-not seem to touch it. Its all freed up now and I used 3 in 1 so might just carry on with that.
