Before I get on the phone to Infinitiy, Sportsbikeshop etc, I thought I would check on here and see if anyone suggest a backpack that you can fit a helmet inside..? Im guessing 30L or bigger. Budget is £100 and it would be handy if it has zippable side pockets.
My old Hien Gericke backpack was a 31L and I could just about fit a helmet inside.
Having seen the damage a backpack can do to someone's back in an accident i would never suggest that one be worn on a motorbike. Have a look at tail packs that have straps to carry around rather than a dedicated backpack. I cant suggest anything though as i always use the topbox for storing my helmet when parked.

I agree, if you have an Off and land on your back on a helmet, you're at risk of serious injury or death.
My tank bag expands sufficiently to take a helmet, or a cargo net on the back seat would work.
Carrying the helmet in the backpack is for when Im OFF the bike, I recently got refused entry to a building for just trying to walk in while carrying it.
exactly that. So out of sight, out of mind.

@b1k3rdude I have an 'as new' Knox biker rucksack that will take a full-face helmet - my Arai RX7 fits inside it. At a guess, I'd say 35 litre capacity.
Also, an Oxford Sports expanding tailpack.
I'm selling them to raise funds for British Heart Foundation in memory of a friend.
You can have either or both in return for a small donation and cost of postage.
Can supply photos if needed.
I ended up buying a 5.11 Tach-24, but I am still inside the return period. So out of interest, whats the exact make of the knox backpack..?
I guessed the capacity before I found the eBay listing. It's not labelled and I have no way of making an accurate measurement of its capacity unless I fill it with fluid.
And I have put my own Arai RX7 full face helmet inside the rucksack I have here, and closed the zip to secure it.
Just trying to help you out, that's all.
