Anyone considering going back to work?
#1
According to various news feeds, around 170,000 old codgers like me are going back to work as a result of the depreciation in the value of pensions and the energy cost rises. My wife's not keen on me working again, but I just don't like the idea of my life savings being consumed by robbing bastard multi nationals, when I could be using them to enjoy my twilight years

I was going to pull the pin and retire next September at 62, but looks like I will have to try and cling on a bit longer to weather the coming storm  :rolleyes

Was hoping to get a good few years of touring and sight seeing on my bikes, before they ban them. But looks like we are going back 100+ years, work until you drop to keep the robber barons happy.

60 soon and have been saving for my retirement for a few years now, Knowing that i will need them if iam to have a decent retirement. by the time i retire i would of clocked up over 50 years of paying into the system,it annoys me that those who can work but dont will have the same state  pension as me. got a couple of private pensions and the workplace pension but not doing as well as they should....and...Whats going to happen to the NHS before we retire. Be very surprised if theres not BIG changes.
One, is never going to be enough.....
