Fork stantion replacement help

Hi guys,
I'm replacing my pitted fork stantion and have got stuck,
Theres a wierd like pressed in sleeve thing in my old stantion and nothing on the new stantion.


Whats this about? Can it be removed and tranfered over?

Update, I have burchered old fork with grinder and swapped it into new one and folded end over as neatly as i can. This part isn't listed in the yamaha parts list and looks like its included in a OEM stantion,
