is my cam chain worn

just changing my advance to a 4 deg one and noticed that the front side of the cam chain has quite a bit of slack. the back side seems tight and the tensioner seems to turn left and right ok under the bolt. is this a normalamount of slack?ive attached a video

Did you turn the engine anticlockwise? Rotate the engine two full turns clockwise to allow the tensioner to take up the slack. that should sort it.

In that case I would think it's definitely worn.
But not very much, if you do regular oil changes and use the bike then a cam chain should last almost forever. I've had bikes over 140000 miles on the original cam chain without any rattles. My current fz8 is on 80000 and quiet as a ?.
