See you all after a week of fun, riding, drinking and 30 degree sunshine.
Have a good one. Good to hear of a Foccer getting over to the continent for a shindig and ride. :thumbup
This was booked just before Christmas, so we have all been praying that they lifted the travel ban/quarantine for the last couple of months. And they did, just in time.
The weather is looking good, high 20's to low 30's and sunny, just perfect.
I cant wait, screaming the Fazer through the beautiful forests of the Parc de Morvan, beers, wine and G+T's on the patio till late, music, a bit of bad dad dancing, laughs, obscenely offensive outfits, Time Bombs (Red wine and Cider), so called because you get very suddenly drunk, I cant bloody wait!
:lol Sounds perfect... Enjoy
Oh we will Dazza. I cant figure out why we don't have more people clamouring to come with us, ten euros for the week each, just to go towards the electricity and water (even I put €10 in the pot and its my house!), but then again, its probably us lot putting them off.
I'm not spending a week with that bunch of dickheads :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol
off to my place over there next month. Hopefully the tiger will come out the shed for a couple of days if I am not too busy doing trips to the Decheterie
Another ex-Fazer rider that is a foccer again
Yeah BBROWN, it would be helpful if the Decheterie could just pick a time to be open and bloody stick to it. My local one just opens when if feels like, its shut for 2 hours in the middle of the day when it is open, and its closed when the opening times are clearly marked on the (frequently changed) board outside the gates says it's supposed to be open. To be French eh? What a life!!! Turn up to work if you want to, don't worry about the money, the European Union will pay for it.
:agree
Shuts for two hours during the day? Lucky you :pokefun Mine opens for two hours a day, three days a week. Sometimes in teh morning and sometimes in the afternoon. As I am not there that often, I can never remember what days are the morning and what arent so end up with at last one aborted trip as I can never find the photo or leaflet I have to tell me the times.

I know what you mean about the aborted trips, ive lost count of the number of times ive had to unload all the crap back at home, again. I go there now expecting it to be closed.
Just back from Paris--great time and weather wiz fab.

Whats its like there at the moment?
I'm going in 4 weeks with the kids to the local mickey mouse hotspot but then we are spending 2 days in Paris itself to do the touristy stuff. Was just hoping there's some kind of normal there??

Hope that you had a good trip.... We are riding down to Carcassonne in September. My parents are driving up from Spain... covid permitting... I'm in Stoke too... married a 'neckender' 3 years ago... get in touch if you fancy a ride out...
forms filled out--nobody bothered their arse to look at them.
masks to be worn in shops, cafe's and restaurant's but can be removed when you are seated.
social distancing 1 metre.
Disneyland Paris limited by numbers--pre booking required.
Asterix land the same.
I'm back. Wow, what a week! The weather was fantastic, the beer and wine were cheap (in the shops), the riding was excellent. As long as you have a mask in your pocket everything is ok, just stick it on in shops and you're away. Some of the roads through the Parc de Morvan were stunning.
Going back in two weeks from today in the car with the Mrs and kids.
Cant wait!
