Hi Red,
Where would be a good venue to meet up for you. Would The Chalet be any good, say 10:30. I know the service there is crap, but we could go on to Brighton and get breakfast there, by the pitch'n'putt where we've been before.

Hi robbo....my son wants to come this year ,18 and will by buying his first bike soon , I wanted him to experience the atmosphere at the ace so was thinking of leaving with the masses at the ace , ride out as far as M25 then peel off and find a more interesting route , was hoping someone would post a meet ....think the ride leaves the ace at 10 .so 10.30 at cowfold would be more than pushing it for me....be great to meet up again , how flexable are you on time ?

Very flexible timewise. It's just from Cowfold you can get in to Brighton a lot easier than on the main drag (A23). If The Chalet's any good, then what's  a good time for you.

Pretty good, finished my stint in South Africa so home now, nice looking Bemmer, took one out for a test ride about 2 years ago was impressed.

The plan will be to meet at The Chalet around 11ish, to leave 11:30ish. Weather forecast ok at the moment.

Ride out leaves ace cafe at 10.30 am, ill ride with them and peel off and head for cowfold , all being well ill get there for 11.30 ish , dont wait for me if iam late ill catch up with you at brighton , 25 th anniversary this year anyone do the first ?

I did the 25th anniversary of The Ace being closed which was 1994 and the venue was still Just Tyres,  don't remember Mark being involved before that. I remember him collecting money at Brighton to help get the Ace project off the ground , but that was later. I'll wait at The Chalet as long as possible. :thumbup

Yep I was at the first which was 1994, expect I've got the badge on a leather jacket that I'm far too fat to wear now. :lol
