It could be the end of the Veggie Bacon and other crap we see in the UK if we follow the French on this.
Where will it end though?
No more veggie sausages or "steaks". No more veggie burgers either.
I guess the nut cutlet will have to go too as it could be confused with a lamb cutlet :pokefun

Seriously have people run out if things to moan about it something? Youd think givernments had better things to do with their precious time? Who gives a foc what fake meat is called ?
Fricking Europe. I heard that if it hadn't been for Brexit they were going to start phasing in driving on the right hand side!!... lorries and coaches first and if successful, the same with cars and bikes!

As you mention that, i had 2 different Euro drivers give way to me this week, one heading towards me and the other in front of me, but they both never indicated and pulled over for a few seconds on the "right" side of their road.
So the one i was following looked like he was parking to the right, but wasn't, and the one aiming towards me totally crossed my path.
Once past, both of them then rejoined the road.
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.

I go to France several times a year with the car and occasionally the bike (and have a bike I keep there) and I have lost count of the number of times, after getting back toe the UK, I wake up in the morning and drive off up my road on the wrong side. I usually realise within a couple of seconds but can see how people forget for longer.

I have to say as we are surrounded by countries that drive on the right, well, why the heck are we driving on the left?
Doh. Stupid.
That'll make the Irish Border issue even more interesting
VNA driving on the left is a legacy from when we were ruled by the Romans. ------ So a bloke down the Pub told me :rolleyes

Europe driving on the right is mostly down to Napoleon. He never conquered us, so we stayed on the left because that leaves your sword arm free...

That's the same reason as when we shake hands it's with your right hand. It's was originally to show you friendly and didn't have a weapon in your right hand. Women traditionally walk on a mans left. This left his right hand free to draw his sword.
Also Castle spiral stair cases turn to the right so the invader coming up can not use his right had for sword but the defender above can.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
Guess same reason the accelarator is on the right is the Fazer mighter than the sword?? my lord :rollin

Well I for one am damn pleased to be able to drive up a spiral staircase wielding a sword. Bloody Brussels...Bloody Health and safety gone mad....I bet it's all to stop us playing conkers....
(sorry - got carried away there :rollin )
And another thing....I work in a psychiatric hospital, ok? When I trained as a nurse some 30 years ago it was fine to call these places "loony bins" or "nuthouses". Nowadays they're referred to as "mental health units" or "psychiatric care facilities". I tell you - it's madness gone politically correct! (geddit?) :b
I'll get me coat....

Although Baden-Powell had spent a lot of time in Africa and the Scouts shake the left hand because it meant you weren't holding a shield, so trust the other person not to attack you.

Some American Police bikes had the throttle on the left hand because it enabled the rider to shoot with his right!
