Oh dear, why do I never learn?!!!  :rolleyes

When I fitted my white dial faces did I read the instructions on the mods. & jobs web link?............
No!
Of course I didn't....I'm a bloke, therefore I do not read instructions, I simply steam in like a moron & realise the error of my ways 1/2 way thru the job!  :eek
I now have an inaccurate fuel gauge & a speedo which is also somewhat awry!
BUT....at least I can read them a treat!Wink :rollin
Now I think I will have to take it all apart again, remove the clear lenses & refit to the bike. That way I can test & reset the needles on the shafts as I go!
Will I ever learn?.......Probably not!

I followed most of the instructions when I did mine a few weeks ago, my fuel guage goes down when ignition is off so I did not bother taking the fuse out. When you have sorted it, it does make a big difference  Smile

Previous owner of my bike did the same mod, and while the Speedo is OK, and reads in Kms (OK in D'Ould Sod), my fuel gauge starts at about due north when full, a good quarter measure beyond the graduations on the dial. It also meant that on the first long journey I did, I saw the fuel light come on with what I thought was a quarter tank still left.

That proved interesting Smile
