Went to Rother Valley and did a 42 mile cycle ride (mostly off-road) to, and around, Clumber Park, and back to Rother valley.

15 of us, mostly in the 55-79 yr old range, with one teenager - bloody marvellous day. Would have been out on Fazer's (and my RSV), but youngest is in a wheelchair for 6-8 weeks (Kung Fu training injury) so he can't ride his Fazer and Liz and I have a 150 mile Charity cycle ride to train for.

Jealous of everyone out on a "real" bike last weekend !

Weather's not looking great but I'm gonna have a ride down to Hastings

Yup, weathers not great but I'm heading over to Hastings.  Seeing as I'm only 5 miles from Hastings I figured I'd head up to Pembury and join a group coming down  Big Grin

Yup, LOFOs seem a bit disappointing lately.
I had a run around the Lakes with a chap from another forum yesterday, but now got to conserve the new tyres for Europe at the end of the month. Frustrating not having the Striple to turn to now, and with a period of settled weather here!

I had a great little ride down to Rye via Headcorn Aerodrome yesterday (Sunday) Went a different route to normal and it was fantastic. Twisty after twisty, up and down, seemed to go on forever. No real traffic either.  Going to  have to try and remember the way we went.Me and my brother stood in awe at Headcorn at the sight and sound of a spitfire starting up, spitting flames from its exhausts and roaring into the sky above us.
Knew the weather wasn't going to be great today,so made the most of it yesterday.
Am off to lake Geneva on Friday for a long weekend riding so will post something up possibly for those interested.

Definitely interested, trip report with photos required! Long way to go for a weekend, even a long one. Which bike are you taking?
