Yeah I was watching the practice this afternoon.  Thought it was bad when the helicopter came but he left in an ambulance...

Video I found on youtube shows him sliding straight under the air fence, only steel after that.

Apology re the air fence, further reading suggests it was his bike that he hit which caused his injuries

All todays MotoGP podium dedicated their finish to Luis and his family.All racers are aware of the thin line between today and tomorrow.Two riders died at the TT so a sad weekend for racing.

Always sad to see any racer lose his life, Sad  only positive was that it put the childish antics of the MotoGP boys into perspective. Now if we can get a few more to come to their senses, realise how easy it is to have everything wiped out and let their racing do the talking :tape
