They make slip ons and full systems. Looks real to me, mine has the full system, attached for comparison.

I think he might be right. Akro's normally don't have a clamp to the pipe, they're slipped on and secured with springs.  :rolleyes

There are plenty of people out there who rebadge their budget exhaust with an Akropovic sticker from ebay for extra 'street cred', people aren't necessarily going to know the difference.

If it were me I'd email Akropovic with a picture of the end can and ask them the question, they'll give you a definitive answer.

My akrapovic is etched on the outlet end with part number.
Also not all akras have springs to the link pipe, on my gen2 the pipe and can are one piece. Smile
When I had my  gen1 I fitted an akra can to a non akra link pipe with a clamp but there were hooks on the can to attach springs to, if your can does not have any hookss then it is probably a fake.
Looking at your link pipe it has hooks on it but it also looks slightly damaged, maybe had an akra fitted that got damaged and a cheaper can was put on.

100% that is not an Akrapovic, they usually use springs to attach to link pipe or the link pipe is part of the can, the carbon fibre looks wrong, the shape is wrong, the rivets and bands are incorrect and as mentioned above there are Akrapovic marks etched into the can.

Looks like a scorpion or similar can with Akrapovic sticker (easy to buy on ebay).

Look on the Akrapovic website to see better examples of their cans, https://www.akrapovic.com/#!/motorcycle/...earId=1727

Cheers nash, absolutely love it. Not too bothered about the can to be honest coz the rest of the bike is superb. Had a quick look earlier and the sticker is lifting slightly.
