LOFO's run to Beachy Head
#1
Just throwing this out there to see if you Foccer's are up for this.
Me an Midden had a run down there last year and it was a good little run.
Can't remember the exact route we took, think it was via Hastings and Rye on the way down.
So, I'm thinking...first Sunday of June, the 7th,
If any Foccer's are up for this or know of a good route down there or back from, make it known.

Let's see if we can't keep up the regular rideouts, they are fun and it's good to stay in touch...

What do ya think Foccer's ?

sorry it's probably a no from me.  We are staying with family in London Sat eve and I won't be back in time on the Sunday :-(

What time are you leaving?  I might be able to meet you there later on and then ride back
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!

This could work....plus weather should be nice and warm.

A route I've used before is on the A267 from Tunbridge Wells, this can involve a trip to Wesson's Cafe in Horam, avoiding the Dickers (Upper and Lower  :rollin ) and then a blast through Jevington to wake up the old biddies and 4x4 types before arriving at Beachy Head.

This is looking like it could be shaping up Lofo's, Nell's café would be a good central starting point for us and we could head across country to Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells.
As you say, Estuarybiker, the A267 looks favourite from there as a good route down.
Just need our main man Red to get on board, maybe a meet in Tunbridge Wells for him as he is coming from  North West of the town.
Maybe Midden and Harry Hornby can meet up later and meet up with us on the south coast.

Any more takers ?

I doubt very much I'm gonna make this.  Got to get home from South west London with the family on Sunday morning (I doubt they will get going in the morning, especially as my wife is off out with her sister on Sat eve).  It's a fair ride down there too, so I would prob end up getting there far too late.

To coin a phrase from a popular TV show, I'm out.

Never mind Harry,  see you next time.
So,  who's in?
How does 10 am Nell's cafe on the A2 sound for a meeting point and breakfast ?
Weather's going to be good by the looks of it.

I'm in, need to go to Hoo at some point in the day to pick up some Gen1 clocks I got off e-bay.
The bloke is breaking a complete Yellow Gen1 with a blown engine , apparently it blew up trying to keep up with a silver one :rollin

Probably more like two sneaky silver bike owners got together and hatched a plan of sabotage to slow it down Big Grin
