bikes been fine untill i did my last oil change now im getting fairly bad clutch slip.
Only way i can remove most of it is to turn the top adjuster all the way in but then the biting point is right near the bar but i still have clutch slip.
Wrong oil?
put in 15/40 semi synthetic
i used 15/40 semi synth before but i different brand and it was fine
hmm, i used similar from same brand and it was fine, the previous was just coma super semi synth mineral oil... looks like im buying new oil then... or i could try taking out 2l and replacing with 2l of the old oil that i didnt use

You could do mate but tbh perhaps your bike wasnt running perfectly even with the last stuff if it was just car oil....you maybe just didnt know that it wasnt
Id be tempted to get rid and get down halfords
I got 5 litres of motorbike specific oil 10W40 for about £24....it's at the bike section where they sell the chain lube and oxford stuff etc, not by the rest of the oils in the generic oil section.
If it was me then idrun the new bike oil for a few hundred miles, flush it out and replace again just to try get rid of all those old friction reducers.....or just run it until the next oil is due.

can't run this till the oils due, i did 200 miles yesterday and it was painful trying to overtake (may day run) and opening the throttle to see the revs shooting up and going nowhere.
£24!! i paid £26 for this oil. will check out halfrauds.

This stuff
I did t mean keep running what youve got...i meant run new good stuff and either flush it through again or just run it.
As comparison the castrol super shizny was about £38 for 4 litres.
