I fitted my S2 with Conti Road Attacks fantastic tyre, not sure what they were like in the wet as live in Spain but in the dry now problems, tyres were better than my ability but even this old fart had no bother grinding a bit of the pegs.

Why yous guys always on about tyres?
Where can i get a set? Would spray paint be ok and how many extra HP would it add?
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Me an the Mrs got bt023's. Very good tyre with extra tread depth.
Just flapping about on this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet.....yup.... :-))

Conti road attacks were subject to a recall
 Mac just re-cut some groves with a soldering iron like dodgy truckers do
