Just flapping about on this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet.....yup.... :-))
:z Good grief, is it that time already? :rolleyes
Pete, I could go round the outside of you on one crutch carrying my bike......as long as it's not dark :look
Went yesterday and managed to rush round in about 6 hrs. Best result I got in for nothing. .. stuck dad in his mobility scooter and got in as a carer result.
I went on Sunday. Had a really good day. 2/3 cars and 1/3 bikes. Lots of rare and beautiful models; both bikes and cars... The auto jumble was immense; if it wasn't there it wasn't worth having or seeing... Lots of specialist motor clubs, technical demonstrations and even the wall of death was there...
I met Mike Brewer & Ed China from TV's Wheeler Dealers and saw interview with John Mooneye Cooper; the bike racer who apparently instigated / invented the getting your knee down technique...
To top it all I had a good blat up the Fosse Way and back, and for the first time all year the bike ran perfectly - no more engine issues...!

No pics = FAIL! :lol
How did it compare to the Stafford show where bikes are concerned? There has been talk of Stafford being doomed due to the HS rail link carving up their land, and also lots of people complaining about queues due to poor access (although no problem on a bike). So could this show be a viable alternative?
I'm still yet to download the pics from my camera and will add some soon mate... ;-)
If you're a petrol head and love your old school and retro, this show will be just up your street. It even opened my eyes and I thought I'd seen it all... ;-)
