HI ALL..... I have just acquired this 04 fazer  at a bargain price. its been very neglected as been used by last owner for two years as a commuter from the hovercraft port  to Gosport (i live on the isle of wight) So 2 years of road grime salt air and the elements taken its toll (he never once cleaned it) . It will be a winter project..  I did an RD500  a few yrs ago and enjoyed doing that so thought Id do another..  Mick

Welcome-looks like you will be able to shift that corrosion on the rear "sub" frame :lol

yes clean it but i would systematically go to every bolt,nut one by one to release and lube up,,except the engine of course.

sub frame already off- has an appointment with the sand blaster- along with wheels swinging arm and various brackets /bits and pieces!
