Hi all
Just joined, so thought I would say hello.
I'm Dusty, live near Heathrow, and have an Fz1n that I bought a year ago. Lovely bike that fits me perfectly. Had all sorts in the past, and before I got the Fz I had a 900ss Duke, Gsx1100efe and an Xjr1300. Also got a couple of powervalve specials that I am building as I love my Yam 2 strokes. Anyway, heres the Fz1n;

Previous owners had spent a few quid on it. Dyno print out from BigCC states 146 at the wheel and it's certainly rapid ! Onlt things I might change are the carbon parts back to standard but otherwise I love it.

Also agreed that's a nice looming bike ,

What's the spec list to get up to that HP, i take it power commander, exup removal, K&N???

& how do you manage to hang on without the fairing.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Hi,
Thanx for the welcome. I totted up the parts that I know about and it was north of 4k ! Yea, PowerCommander and 3 BigCC custom maps, Growler exhaust, forged alloy Dymags, Braking wavey discs, Hyperpro fork springs and Rsc steering damper, goodridge lines and loads of other bits. I got the standard mudguards and tank shroud with the bike and may bolt them back on and sell the carbon parts, but otherwise I love it. I don't go that fast anymore, but it's nice to have the power when I need it ! It' s an 06 but it's on a private plate, and it's got 12000 on the clock. I paid £3600 for it last August and it's the best big bike I've ever had. All I do is ride it and clean it ! And it sounds awesome !! Wink

Hi,
It does go well, although I don't cane it around - too many years rebuilding two strokes !! It's the riding position that really suits me, I had a really nice 900ss Duke before this, but it just didn't feel comfortable as I have dodgy joints nowadays Sad .
